WHEN PREPPING DOORS, BE SURE TO ACCOUNT FOR THE LEFT HAND INSTALLATION BY FLIPPING BOTH THE DEADBOLT AND THE TEMPLATE UPSIDE DOWN.

Strike and deadbolt face-plate are 2 1/4" long x 1" wide:

Because these three holes are off center:

Be sure to flip deadbolt AND template upside-down for Left-Handed installation

For Hollow Wood & Metal Doors simply drill the three 7/16" holes through to the other side of the door.  There's no need for the 1 5/8" hole on the inside of door unless you add the L.E.D. option.

The K-300 series uses the same drill template as the K-250. 

For standard doors drill a 1 5/8" hole 1 3/8" deep on inside of room.  If you need assistance please call us.

Models K-250 and K-300 Privacy Indicator Locks are supplied with #8/32 size screws for the strike and the latch face.
